If I could leave negative 5 stars I would. I watched the bartender make a drink and said "I want that" she said "it's really good" and then I left to go to the restroom. When I came back the bartender had sat a different drink in front of Scott and I said that's not what I ordered. The bartender insisted that I had actually ordered that drink. I said please change it because I'm not paying for that. She said no. So I wrote NO PAY on the tab and said I'm sorry for any confusion but if you won't fix that I am not staying or paying for it. As I walked out a manager was standing right there. I said "I'm sorry for any confusion, but all I asked was for the correct drink and please do not charge my card. Had she just given me what I'd asked for I'd happily stay, we were going to have dinner also" he just looked at me and said the card won't be charged. Well....glad we didn't patronize their business I guess they don't need customers. The place wasn't crowded, had only 5 tables occupied yet told us there would be a 25 minute wait which we didn't mind since we were going to relax with a frozen drink and enjoy the beach views. Oh well...back to mug & mallet for the 2nd time. Good service and food.

It was 10yrs ago when my wife and I were introduced to Connor's Smoothered Cheese Fries. Every year, we make sure we visit, and every year they taste even better. The food and views make up for the horrible service. Will def be returning, and will be recommending to others!

Good place for a bar food type dinner. Chicken ranch wrap was good, french fries were great. Didn't like the sweet potato fries. Chicken quesodilla was good. Decent size portions. Nephew claims the chicken fingers are awesome!

My husband and I waited almost an hour for our breakfast to come out! It's insane, it's just eggs and toast. Not coming back!!

Breakfast is pricey and bland. A tall stack of French toast consist of 2 pieces of bread cut in half not four...

Actually surprisingly good. I had a crab cake and my son had chicken fingers and boardwalk fries. Our server was attentive, refilled drinks promptly. Food came quickly. It was clean and a nice view of the ocean in an air conditioned cafe. I would highly recommend.

Happy hour from 3-6 p.m. $3 Margaritas (pre-mixed) and $4 Coronas (12 oz. can). Barbarella was our bartender full of life and made the atmosphere very fun. The bar is a small U-shaped island but there is additional tables on either side of the bar to sit down and eat. I didn't eat there but the folks next to me did they seemed happy with their choices and I didn't overhear any complaints, nice folks from PA. Very nice view from the bar overlooking the beach and good place to catch some rays. Had a great time and would return.

Best hotel and Best café on the entire island! Kim is awesome. My family visits here often and always stays here. They have the best selection of drinks and food. Best bartenders, shout out to Shane. He was awesome too (and incredibly sexy ps). The roof deck looking over the boardwalk, beach and ocean view is unbeatable! Seriously, when in OC, stay eat and drink here. You wont be disappointed!

The "chef" is a vegetarian. Nuff said. But with that said, my fiancee said it may have been the best veggie burger she's ever had. I ordered the Jumbo Hot Dog. It tasted like water. It actually tasted like it was previously frozen, and just cooked enough so that it could thaw into itself, while retaining all the moisture from the ice crystals in which it was encased. The chef is a vegetarian.

In my experience, restaurants right on the boardwalk do not necessarily need to rely on quality of the food, service, and atmosphere, but mostly on location. Conners is your average American & Seafood type of restaurant that relies on it's location. Our waitress... like nothing I've ever experienced. She was very nice and attentive, but too much so. It's hard to explain unless you have the same waitress, but it was almost awkward and every time she came around, she left us all kind of looking at each other strangely. I ordered the crab bisque and my friends ordered sandwiches. It was all good, but nothing special. I did hear good things about the sweet potato fries... fresh, not frozen. DON'T ordered the drinks! They overcharged and brought them out in kiddie cups. Well, not really, but they were very small cups. Give us normal sized beers please... The atmosphere is nice. It overlooks the boardwalk and the ocean. At night when the lights come on, it seems like it would be a good place to hang out at the bar. That is, if the bar was longer than 6 ft.

We stumbled upon Conners last 4th of July when looking for somewhere to get drinks and watch the fireworks. While the place is pretty small and service and food are just okay, the view makes the whole experience worth it. There aren't many places on the boardwalk that have a true view of the water, so we will cut them a break when it comes to food. We went back to Conners this 4th and was a little frustrated when we learned that there was a one hour limit when sitting at a table. Our plan was to get there early, stake out a spot and order drinks and appetizers until the fireworks started, but we had to change our plans. Luckily, a few bar stools became open and we were able to sit there and get some drinks (expensive but really tasty) and the soft pretzel appetizer (pretzel was cold but cheese sauce was great). On other occasions, we have tried various wraps and sandwiches there which were nothing special but still decent, but the best thing on their menu is the sweet potato fries. Overall, don't go there expecting a great meal, but definitely go if you want to relax in a relatively quiet spot on the boardwalk and look out onto the ocean.

Yeahhhh happy hour was excellent. Three dollar margaritas were delicious and strong. Boardwalk fries and sweet potato fries were amazing. The soft shell crab sandwich and fish taco wrap were great too. Hang out at the bar upstairs, Dina will take care of you. She is awesome! :)

I didn't read reviews when I went... I was just looking for somewhere near the beach for a quick lunch. It was mid week, mid day so no complaints about service. The OC Ripper (Basically a crab cake sandwich with bacon and provolone cheese) was average, which was a bit disappointing. I don't have to go again, but it wasn't horrible.

We were staying at the Park Place Hotel and thought it convenient to try out this café at the ground level. My hubbie ordered an omelette and found a hair in it. I ordered a simple bagel with cream cheese, when I opened the cheese container there was green mold on top. My hubbie went to complain to the manager and she simply said it wasn't their fault. I think she felt bad after and brought over some cream cheese, carefully checking to make sure there was no mold. Needless to say we'd never go back to this place.

We got here for dinner around 8, no wait. Other than the crab dip, the food wasn't anything special. It was fairly quick service so I can't complain about that. Average price I guess, but for the quality of food it could have been cheaper.

Don't waste your money or your time on this establishment. We were recently there for my brother's birthday ... We were a party of 8 .. We arrived on a very busy Saturday night around 7:20.. They quoted us 45 mins to 1 hour... We were not seated for 2.5 hours... All during that time we waited while they sat parties of four and six over and over again. Finally we asked a manager why it was taking so long and he face us a spiel about a busy night... Then under his breathe snidely said to a fellow employee, "go drink somewhere else ". After being promised a table, we waited another 15 mins and were seated At around 10-1015. Then when trying to place an order for an appetizer we were rudely informed that we must order all our food at the same time. Then the waitress rolled her eyes when we said we would need more time. After ordering she brought our food and THEN brought the appetizers. She set VERY HOT soup on the edge of the table. The soup tilted and spilled all over my brothers hand and leg. Extremely agitated and upset, he left with second degree burns. After trying to eat our greasy limp French fries and burgers that were surpassed in taste by McDonalds, we requested a manager and the manager made no apology or restitution. He just brought us our check poste haste. What horrible service, food, and customer relations. We normally tip 20-25 percent because we own a restaurant, but this place was SO past even our patience and understanding. Awful, Horrible in every possible way. Skip this one abs go to the Brass Balls down the boardwalk.

Came here twice in one day. The first time was to get fruit smoothies which were up-to-par. The second time was to get a steak sandwich. The summer staff were young and cute but with that territory, perhaps a bit inexperienced and unsupervised. I waited a LONNNNNG time for a simple cheesesteak sub, 14 minute turnaround at 3pm when there were perhaps two or three other customers. It was enough time for me to "drop the kids at the pool", wash my hands, walk down to another store and window shop, come back, sit and sigh, and ask about my sub sandwich again. I gave the clerk the stink eye several times and she just hid behind the pretzel display and the line area--instead of cracking the whip on the kitchen staff. Other than that less than inspiring experience, the food was good, the prices were beachy and reasonable for the boardwalk, the place was clean and presentable. I felt that giving 2-stars for what was possibly an anomaly in service, unreasonable.....for now.

Me and my fiancé notice this place while walking along the boardwalk. They were having a happy hour special from 3-6 pm on $3 margarita and $4 corona light and we couldn't resist a good happy hour so we gave them a chance. I ordered a margarita and I absolutely loved in. The drinks here were strong for a happy hour and the bartender was full of energy. Our bartender was Barbara. She was the nicest bartender I had in awhile and everyone loved her! I'll be back soon but only if the same bartender is around!

Was not thrilled with this place. Had the Conners O.C. Ripper sandwich it was mushy like it wasn't cook. Not worth the money.

One evening about 7 pm (on a Tuesday) we had the fish sandwich and fried chicken steak sandwich here with fries to go and loved that it was piping hot, large portions and quite tasty. This food was better than in some of the higher-priced restaurants we also went to in the area. In the past we've stayed at the hotel and utilized this their boardwalk level cafe for breakfast. Food is generally hot and comes fast but I feel like the staff need some training in "customer friendliness" as no one smiles or greets you and maybe they're just tired of the summer season but really, if you don't like this type of work, get out of the business! The location is convenient for beach goers, the cafe provides an air conditioned table section and the photos of old time OC boardwalk on the wall are very interesting (although not well captioned). And it's wheelchair accessible!

I was referred to this place because they were one of the few places that have coke product and I was soooo thankful!!!! I get tired of going into places and asking for a diet coke and they give me a diet Pepsi and I am thinking ...that's not what I asked for how would you like if I paid you with Monopoly money. Well the staff were nice my daughter wanted a funnel cake but when it came time to take it out of the oil she realized she didn't have the tongs so it kept cooking and cooking and it was so thick hard and oily that as we got 5 blocks away went to another shop and got another one and didn't eat that hard thing. But they do have coke!

Extremely disappointed in Connors. Let me start by saying we usually love it here. Staying at the hotel it's only an elevator ride to the second floor for good food overtop the boardwalk. Each time we go it's good. I love the wraps and ice cold adult drinks. Everyone is always friendly and service is always great. But... Yesterday when we were having lunch here we noticed something. Two woman smoking at the bar. Contemplating complaining, I noticed the bar tender pull out a cigarette and also light up. What's more? She made someone's drink with a cigarette in her mouth.... Last time I checked it's illegal to smoke in a food establishment. It's also illegal to smoke in ocean city unless it's in designated smoking areas. But for some reason Connors thinks it's ok to have people blowing cigarette smoke into people's faces as they walk by. I had to cover my 2 year old daughters face so a disgusting, disrespectful asshole blows their cancer smoke everywhere. This isn't going to stop me from coming to Connors anymore but will make me think about considering other alternatives.

You can come here fore cheap food and cheap drinks and make it out of here like a bandit if you stick to the basics. For starters, their apps are pretty amazing. What's more amazing is the bill. I love that I could escape out of here paying less than $20 for 3 drinks and an app. No quality was compromised. I was content with my server. She was nice and hospitable. I was even more content with the view of the ocean and the ample people watching from their 2nd floor open patio. My main complaint about this place is that it did take some time for my food to get out to me. There were not many patrons there, so I was wondering why the hold up. Secondly, the music was up WAY TOO LOUD. Blaring music at any restaurant where you can't hear the person next to you talking can become profoundly annoying.... just sayin'. Otherwise a good experience and I would return.

I had their shrimp salad sandwich with potato chips (overly salted utz ripple chips) and while it was good it really could have been better, the shrimp salad lacked flavor. Being a native Marylander I expect my seafood dishes (especially shrimp salad or crabs) to have that fantastic oldbay flavor with crunchy celery bits and creamy mayo, this was just shrimp and mayo with tiny tiny bits of celery. I will say that their funnel cake sundae was their saving grace! This thing is absolutely amazing and should be shared ( it's massive!) I will go there for this.

[ cultural side-note ] I am a Canadian from an Asian immigrant family. I spent my summers in the public library in Toronto. Thus I have a special place in my heart for the cultural novelty of boardwalks and families with tacky printed shirts and fanny packs, the same way most tourists have a place in their heart for the cultural novelty of Paris. Conners Beach Cafe is East Coast Boardwalk Americanaâ„¢ embodied. It was also the one place that was open for breakfast along the entire boardwalk on Easter Sunday! [ food ] - orange juice: fresh, no complaints - an egg and cheese sandwich on rye - was fine, the egg was real, not that weird spongy fake stuff - coffee: fine, and the matronly lady working there kept coming over and asking if we wanted refills. She also called me hun, which was lovely. [ conclusion ] Very American, beautiful view of the boardwalk, no complaints.

Good friendly service. I had their soft shell crab Sanwhich and it was big and juicy. Price not bad for beach establishment.

Bartender couldn't care about actual customer service. Figures at a beach bar. Pouring my shit through her fingers as strainer after handling money, drinks and food. Complete college type level of service. First and last.

It would of been nice to get breakfast this morning. It was 10:40 in the morning and menu clearly says they quit serving breakfast at 11:00 am. So the whole family had to leave to go some where else to eat breakfast. If this is the case than change the time on the menu. Very poor.
